Sunny is a free-spirited surfer who recently moved back to California. One seemingly normal day they find they've applied radioactive sunscreen, giving them super sun-manipulation powers. Now, Sunny must figure out how to juggle the responsibilities of being a superhero while also navigating their life as a post-college student where their non-binary identity is a topic of controversy in a conservative town.
